Someone, Wanted, But, So, Then
To recall the events from the stories we read. The students have been doing a great job with this skill!! Our main story was The Sleeping Pig so I decided to stick with the pig theme for the week!We also read these stories :
I created these graphic organizers to help my students with their summary.
The second sheet goes along with the Borreguita and the Coyote. Here are the vocabulary cards I used, I also used these for ABC Order!
I’ve had these little pigs for YEARS in my closet.
You can purchase them HERE!
If you have or purchase these pigs here are a few Math Activities you can use with these pigs! I put stickers with numbers on them at the bottom of an ice cube tray. The students drop two pigs into an ice cube tray and add the numbers!
This is a graphing activity. The students roll a pig and graph which way the pig lands.

I just found your blog and I'm pretty sure it's one of my new favorites! I also teach Houghton Mifflin and we're a week behind you so I was so excited to grab your activities for "The Sleeping Pig." Thank you so much for the share! I'd love for you to stop by my blog when you get the chance since I {sometimes} post stuff for HM.
