I WISH I lived in North Carolina! I went to Asheville this summer for the very first time and fell in LOVE! My husband and I both fell in love with the people and the trees. I can only take so many palm trees out here in California. I think you are so lucky! Kristin A Teeny Tiny Teacher

Great blog! I will be teaching 1st grade for the first time this year. I was a fifth grade teacher(for over 3 years). I am a bit apprehensive about teaching 1st grade, but i'm also very excited! Loved your ideas and i do the same thing with displaying my objectives re the pocket chart idea. I also save all of mine, although now with a new grade level, i will be starting over:-). I am also in NC and a blogger(though i don't blog about teaching).

I live in NC, and I think that's a great idea if you haven't already done so! I teach 4th grade.
